Lamina Linear Pendant Lamp
A horizontal bar of light that seems to hover in mid-air. The Linear Floating Pendant suspends a curved polycarbonate diffuser between twin steel cables, casting a wide, even wash of warm light downward — with a sharp, architectural shadow above. The metal canopy rail mounts flush to the ceiling; the diffuser floats well below it. Available in six lengths from 30 cm to 198 cm, it scales from a compact desk or bedside all the way to a full dining room or open-plan kitchen island.
Integrated LED & hardwired ceiling install
The LED is built into the fixture and is not user-replaceable. The pendant hardwires to a ceiling junction box — it is not plug-in. A licensed electrician is recommended. Turn off power at the breaker before installation.

- Switch off power at the breaker before installation; a licensed electrician is recommended for hardwired ceiling connection.
- Mount the metal canopy rail to a ceiling junction box; adjust the twin steel cables to set the drop height before tightening.
- For dining tables, a drop height of 70–80 cm above the table surface gives even light without glare — adjust to taste.
- Match the pendant length to the table or surface below: the fixture should be roughly the same length as — or slightly shorter than — the table.
- The integrated LED is sealed and not user-replaceable; contact us if it fails within the warranty period.
- Wipe the polycarbonate diffuser and metal rail with a soft damp cloth; avoid abrasive cleaners and solvents that can cloud or scratch the diffuser surface.
Which length should I choose for my dining table?
As a rule, choose a pendant that is 60–80% of the table's length. For example: a 120 cm table pairs well with L99 cm; a 150 cm table with L118 cm; a 200 cm table with L176 cm or L198 cm. If in doubt, go slightly longer — a pendant that extends to the table's edge looks intentional, not too large.
How high should I hang it above the table?
The standard guideline is 70–80 cm (28–32″) above the table surface. This gives even light across the table without glare in seated eyes. For higher ceilings or a more dramatic look, you can hang it lower; for rooms where people often stand at the surface (kitchen islands), a bit higher — around 90 cm — is more practical.
Is the drop height adjustable?
Yes. The twin steel cables can be adjusted during installation to set the drop height you want. Set the height before tightening the cable clamps at the canopy — it is harder to adjust after the ceiling connection is made.
Is it dimmable?
Dimming depends on the driver. Please contact us to confirm compatibility with your dimmer switch before purchasing, to avoid flicker or driver damage.
What is the polycarbonate diffuser like — will it yellow over time?
The diffuser is made from UV-stabilized polycarbonate, which resists yellowing significantly better than standard acrylic. In a normal indoor environment away from direct sunlight, it should remain clear and bright for many years. Avoid solvents and abrasive cleaners, which can dull the surface.
